Current doctoral research · Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès
I am enrolled in the Doctorat en Didactique des Langues for 2026–2027 at Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, in the ALLPH@ doctoral school and the EFTS research laboratory. My supervisor is Professor Anne-Marie O’Connell.
My current project, Professional Representations, Pedagogical Reasoning, and Adaptation in English-Medium Instruction: A Multiple-Case Study of Disciplinary Lecturers in French Higher Education, examines how disciplinary lecturers understand and adapt their teaching in English-medium instruction. The research is in progress; findings and publications from this project will be added when available.
Completed MA research · Sofia University
My MA thesis, Literature Circles in EFL: How They Stimulate the Social Interaction and Promote Collaborative Learning, was completed in 2011. The MA degree was awarded in 2012. The study examined how literature circles can support social interaction and collaborative learning in English as a foreign language.

Historical doctoral manuscript · Moldova State University
From 2015 to 2018, I worked on a doctoral manuscript concerning the social and linguistic factors shaping abbreviations and acronyms in modern English. That manuscript was not defended, and no PhD was awarded for this work. Its research materials remain available on the Abbreviations & Acronyms in Online English research site. This historical project is separate from my current doctoral enrolment at Toulouse.
